Mustache Love

Image
Mustaches are quite the cool thing in our house.  Part of it probably stems from the popularity of mustaches in fashion these days, but the other part probably stems from my Dad, who has quite the mustache of his own (and he's just a little bit proud of it! LOL).  Either way, when Jen Yurko asked for kit ideas I knew she was exactly the right person for a mustache kit.  And I was totally right, as her two newest kits absolutely rock! She released two new kits, 3 alphas and the most adorable little mustache word circles.  Here's the boy kit, which worked perfectly for Tristan's pictures in one of Grandpa's novelty mustaches.   The boy kit can be found here: http://scraptakeout.com/shoppe/I-Moustache-You...Boy.html     Then there's the girl collection.  This filled a niche that I just haven't seen out there - a girl themed mustache kit.  And believe me, I really, really, really wanted one!  Carissa had a big mustache them...

On the Contrary

This page is based on the new kit "On the Contrary" by Jen Yurko Designs.  It includes templates by She Creates.  Fabulous and on sale right now at Scrap Takeout! http://scraptakeout.com/shoppe/On-the-Contrary-Collab1.html Mexican Train Dominos is one of our family favorite games and one we always take when camping.  It's going on our big family road trip with us later this month too.  :)

Good news just keeps coming...

I'm so happy to announce that my brother returned today from his deployment, safe and sound into the arms of his family.  They waited an extra week, while he was delayed by plane issues.  I am just so proud of him and happy and relieved that he made it home safely.  Another bit of fabulous news came on Friday when I was notified that I was selected for the Designs by Jen Yurko creative team.  I was absolutely ecstatic!  Jen's kits are some of my absolute favorites and are really catered to my style... lots of great patterns, wonderful bright colors and lots of black (cause you know I love my black!).  I'm so excited to have the chance to work with even more of her kits, but for now here are a few of my first pages for the Jen Yurko Creative Team, using the Earobics (first two pages) and Take a Chill Pill (last page) kits. :)
