Mustaches are quite the cool thing in our house.  Part of it probably stems from the popularity of mustaches in fashion these days, but the other part probably stems from my Dad, who has quite the mustache of his own (and he's just a little bit proud of it! LOL).  Either way, when Jen Yurko asked for kit ideas I knew she was exactly the right person for a mustache kit.  And I was totally right, as her two newest kits absolutely rock! So you know that I've resurrected the blog to share all my scrapbook goodies, but I'm going to be taking a short break from that while we head on our newest adventure - our first ever family road trip!  We take off in a few short days and I'm super excited.  I feel a little behind in our packing but that's a little hard when one of your kiddos is away at summer camp and the other one spends two days a week at doctors appt's (it's a long story).  Well... there's no excuse for Carissa other than she just doesn't find the time.  Plus a little help from Mom will probably ensure that everything makes it into the bag and we don't leave home without underwear or shirts or something. So why a road trip?  It is something that Brian and I have talked about for years and years but never got serious about.  Then my little brother got stationed in Colorado Springs, CO and it seemed like the perfect time to finally take that road trip.  Well... maybe not exac...

If you haven't noticed, I've finally jumped in with both feet and committed fully to digital scrapbooking.  It feels so free to be removed from the constraints of classical paper scrapbooking.  No worries that I won't have the right letter, in the right size and the right color... or that I already used up all the e's or that the pinks on two sheets of paper don't match up.  It's so liberating to have the control over it all myself and I love that!  So you may have noticed a lot of scrapbooking and expect a lot more to come, as I'm currently creating for 4 different scrapbook designers - Jen Yurko Designs, Twin Mom Scraps, Mel Hains Designs and Magical Scraps Galore.  Speaking of which, here's the newest kit from Twin Mom Scraps, Beach Wedding.  You can find it at Scrapbook Bytes, where each pack is only $1!  What a deal.  My absolute faves are those awesome flowers.  *LOVE*  And while 4 CT's should keep me busy enough, they don't....
