I *love* Fridays...

... especially so when we have a long weekend like this one. The other reason I love Fridays is that we usually have no plans these days. Unlike the rest of the days of the week, when we're rushing off to scouts, basketball, dance and taekwondo, Fridays are a blessed day or relief from the plans.

Today, for instance, we stayed home and really took time for talking and a family dinner. We ended up talking about all the cute cartoons the kids used to watch when they were little... then we started singing all their favorite songs from cartoons - "The wonderful thing about Tiggers", "Rolie Polie Olie", "Heffalumps and Woozles", "I'm just a little black raincloud", Winnie the Pooh's "When I up down, touch the ground", "Elmo's World", the theme songs from "Zamboomafoo" and "Out of the Box" and Chase's favorite little kitty song from his first computer game. Then we started talking about Sesame Street and went on YouTube to watch REM on Sesame Street singing "Furry Happy Monsters", Sesame Streets "Sing a Song" and the goodybe song, "L-O-V-E" and "Bear Cha-Cha-Cha" from Bear in the Big Blue House.

It was a great evening!
